Fire Contained at French Camp, CA, Elevator

Fueled by spilt corn oil

The Modesto Bee's Rosalio Ahumada reported on a fire that took place at a French Camp Grain Elevators location in French Camp, CA. Three containers of oil split open and covered a warehouse that contained around 52 tons along with the corn oil. Roads around the facility were closed down while the fire burned across the tracks next to the facility and started a grass fire. The fire also burned power lines and sent up black smoke visible for miles.
