The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has launched the application process for the 2025 Feed Facility of the Year program. Feed manufacturing facilities can submit applications until April 25, with a $250 fee.
The program offers comprehensive benchmarking reports on key performance areas, including safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability. Participants can apply in four categories: commercial dry, liquid feed, integrator, and premix/ingredient manufacturers.
Gary Huddleston, AFIA's director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs, emphasized the program's dual benefits of industry improvement and supporting future professionals.
Recent changes to the program include donating proceeds to the AFIA Equipment Manufacturers Committee scholarship fund, with the 2024 program raising $14,080.
One overall winner will receive an on-site award presentation.
