Scoular has reached significant milestones in its sustainability efforts, according to the company's annual sustainability report released today covering June 2024 through May 2025.

The agricultural supply chain company has partnered with two end-use customers to launch its first regenerative agriculture pilot program, successfully enrolling more than 16,000 acres of farmland. This initiative represents a major step forward in Scoular's sustainability journey.

Additionally, the company has developed a facility-level tracking system for scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and completed a comprehensive scope 3 assessment, demonstrating its commitment to environmental accountability.

"Our updated sustainability strategy shows Scoular's commitment to unite our supply chain to reduce environmental impact," said Beth Stebbins, Scoular's director of sustainability. "Collaborating end-to-end with our farmers, suppliers, and customers gives everyone a seat at the table to develop programs that produce the sustainability outcomes that consumers demand."

The report introduces Scoular's streamlined sustainability strategy, which now focuses on three key areas: protecting resources through supply chain collaboration; reducing environmental impact with a commitment to cut scope 1 and 2 emissions by 10 percent by 2030; and enhancing lives through safety initiatives and community engagement.

Employee involvement remains central to the company's approach. Scoular supports four employee resource groups, including Scoular Women Influencing Culture (SWIC), which organized a monthlong volunteer effort where employees in the United States and Mexico contributed more than 250 hours supporting schools, food banks and shelters.

The report highlights how Scoular is aligning its business practices with growing consumer demand for sustainable agricultural products and services.
