Multiple fire departments responded to a fire at Bradfordton Co-op Association in Bradfordton, IL, according to reporting by Natalie Pierre at the State Journal-Register. The fire's cause is unknown, but it started in a three-story wood-frame commercial building at a grain elevator site. Luckily, five fire departments arrived and contained the blaze before it spread to any of the co-op's grain silos or liquid fuel tanks. The building was a complete loss, but the only other damage was to nearby powerlines along with the temporary closure of Illinois 97.
