A man was freed and taken to the hospital Thursday after falling into a grain storage facility and getting trapped in soybeans.
The incident happened early Thursday afternoon at the Scoular grain elevator just east of Salina, KS.
The man went inside the grain elevator to clear a blockage and fell inside a grain chute.
Crews arrived began digging when they heard someone yelling on the other side. The worker was on a conveyer belt.
Crews removed a panel to free the man. He was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries
