Emergency crews responded to a structure fire Friday in Steward, IL, at CHS Ethanol, reports the Rochelle News-Leader.
There were no occupants and the fire was confined to a milling building at the facility. No injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for the fire department said the fire was located in a hammermill and dust collector and was extinguished.
The spokesperson said he didn't know the amount of damage done but did say the plant would experience longer delays.
CHS Ethanol was in a scheduled shutdown when the fire occurred.
