2022 Latin American Poultry Summit Registration Opens

Registration for the 2022 in-person Latin American Poultry Summit is now open! Reconnect with the entire Latin American poultry industry at the Summit, held in conjunction with the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, GA.

Sponsored by the International Poultry Expo, part of IPPE, and the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA), the Latin American Poultry Summit will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. ET on Monday, January 24, 2022. Attendees who register early will receive a discounted price of $250 USD to attend.

The Summit’s theme, “A Look at Today's and Tomorrow's Poultry Farming: Challenges and Answers,” will be explored through sessions focused on discussing the role of poultry farming in helping to address the food, social and economic realities of Latin America. Featured technical topics will be addressed covering economic, production and processing issues of highest priority for Latin American producers and processors of chicken meat and eggs.

The 2022 Latin American Poultry Summit will feature two keynote addresses presented by experts from the Latin American poultry industry. The first will be held during the morning session and is titled, “Latin American Poultry Industry Situation: Myths vs. Facts.”

The second keynote, “Looking at Global, Regional, and National Regulations: Applicability or Limitability,” will be held in the afternoon. Other planned topics include Salmonella Threats and Control Options; Latin American Poultry Farming - Are We Ready for Health Emergencies? Poultry Transport of Birds in Support of Welfare and Productivity; and more.

The program was developed by a panel of industry experts, which included Dr. Pedro Villegas, University of Georgia; Dr. Jose Bruzual, Aviagen, Inc.; Dr. Silvio Hungaro, independent consultant; Leonardo Moreno, Federación Nacional de Avicultores de Colombia (FENAVI); Rodolfo Valadez, Unión Nacional de Avicultores de México; and Juana Galván, Asociación Latinoamericana de Avicultura.
