Doug Diaczuk with tbnewswatch reported on the derailment of eight empty Canadian Pacific Railway grain cars on their return from the nearby VIterra Grain Elevator. There were no injuries caused by the derailment, and there was only minor damage to the grain cars but no serious damage to the track.
The derailment is being investigated, but no cause has been named as of this writing. The incident is not expected to effect traffic at the VIterra Grain Elevator or effect Canadian Pacific Railway schedule.
