BNSF, in partnership with CSX, announced new, faster intermodal schedules starting November 17, enhancing coast-to-coast shipping between the western and eastern U.S. The updated service offers five-day-a-week departures from Los Angeles to multiple CSX destinations, reducing transit times by up to 52 hours on key routes.

New lanes include expedited service from Los Angeles to Northwest Ohio in 89 hours and new services to Louisville and Philadelphia. Significant transit improvements are seen on routes to Chambersburg, Columbus, South Kearny, Springfield, and Syracuse, with time savings ranging from 22 to 52 hours.

“These new schedules increase speed, flexibility and optionality while delivering integrated service for freight moving across the U.S.,” BNSF said. Customers can view the full schedules on BNSF’s Customer Portal.

The enhanced service aims to provide seamless, efficient solutions for shippers needing reliable coast-to-coast transportation. BNSF encourages customers to contact their marketing representatives for more details and expressed appreciation for their continued business.
