September events to support rebuilding efforts after July 4 fireworks fire demolished 80-year-old wooden silo.

Paso Robles Press' Camille DeVaul reported on two fundraising events are planned this month to support the rebuilding of Templeton Feed & Grain after a July 4 arson fire destroyed its historic wooden silos.

"One Town, One Table," scheduled for September 19, will transform the fire site into an outdoor dining experience with a chef-prepared dinner, live music and auction. The event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

On September 21, "The Grain Revival" will feature a street fair and classic car show throughout downtown Templeton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering food, entertainment and family activities.

The fire, caused by illegal fireworks thrown by juveniles, demolished the facility's 80-year-old wooden silos. Four juvenile males were identified in connection with the incident, with one confirmed to have thrown the firework.

The Jermin family, who has operated the business for three generations, is currently working from a rented warehouse while planning to rebuild at the historic site.
