Wayne-Sanderson Farms has announced a partnership with BinSentry to modernize feed inventory management across its operations, installing ProSense Feed sensors on bins throughout its southeastern U.S. facilities.

The technology provides precise, real-time monitoring of feed levels without requiring workers to perform dangerous manual checks by climbing bin ladders.

"Over the past two years, we have been working diligently to apply new technology solutions to improve the management of our animal feed supply chain, which represents our largest operating expense," said Kevin McDaniel, CEO of Wayne-Sanderson Farms.

The system creates 3D images of bin contents and delivers analysis through a mobile dashboard, helping prevent costly feed shortages while optimizing delivery logistics.

With more than 2,000 farm partners and 23 processing facilities, the initiative reflects the company's broader commitment to supporting family farmers while promoting animal welfare and sustainability.

"Wayne Sanderson Farms is a leader in the application of technologies that create value at scale," said Ben Allen, BinSentry CEO. "Our technology fully aligns with their commitment to continuously improve their operations for the benefit of their farm partners, customers and employees."
