Scoular has announced the promotion of Jordan Barry to the newly created position of General Manager within its Renewables & Oilseeds Division. In his new role, Barry will oversee the company's operations in Oilseed Crush and the Sunflower, Flax, and Bird Food sectors, alongside continuing responsibilities in the International Feed business.
Sandra Hulm, Senior Vice President of Renewables & Oilseeds at Scoular, commended Barry's extensive background in the industry, noting, “Jordan’s extensive experience in trading, asset management, and oilseed processing will enhance the value-added services we can offer customers. We are excited that Jordan is taking on this important new leadership role in our company.”
Barry brings over 15 years of experience in the agribusiness sector to his new role. Prior to joining Scoular, he held significant positions in commercial leadership and trading oversight, including work with fertilizer, grain, and oilseed trading, as well as corn and oilseed processing.
As part of his responsibilities, Barry will serve as a voting member of the National Oilseed Processors Association and represent Scoular on both the U.S. Grains Council and the U.S. Canola Association. His leadership is expected to be pivotal as Scoular's canola and soybean crush facility in Goodland, Kansas, prepares to commence operations in October.
