Resurgence of ASF reported in 2 Indian states

Over the past week, there has also been a handful of new ASF outbreaks in European pig herds, while the number of cases in wild boar creeps ever upwards.

There has been a renewed spike in outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in domestic pigs in the Indian states of Assam and Manipur.

First cases of ASF in India were reported in the northeastern state of Assam in early 2020.
