Background
“Chats with the Chatfields” is a podcast to expand your idea of what impacts veterinarians, pet owners, and basically all animal lovers in the galaxy - as humans. The show is co-hosted and produced by Dr. Jen the vet and Dr. Jason Chatfield.
These twin veterinarians have worked together almost their entire lives. After growing up in a rural setting in central Texas, they attended Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Jason completed a B.S. degree in mathematics at Eastern New Mexico University while playing for the basketball team. Following graduation, Jenifer worked as a zoo vet and quickly learned to augment her income with emergency clinic shifts. Jason moved to Florida as the Director of the Tropical Center for Rare Ungulates. Once Jenifer moved to Florida, the twins got the band back together and started collaborating on projects. In 2018, they recorded their first podcast episode and never looked back.
