WBOC's Sean Curtis reported that Italian animal nutrition company Vetagro broke ground Tuesday on its first U.S. manufacturing facility at Mistletoe Hall Commerce-Business Park in Easton.
The production and distribution center, expected to open in July 2026, will strengthen Vetagro's ability to serve North American and international markets.
The facility, located in one of Maryland's Enterprise Zones, will initially create 20 jobs with potential for 60 positions as operations expand.
Maryland officials worked with Vetagro to identify suitable sites and connect with developers.
