No injuries in North Carolina grain bin explosion

The WITN Web Team reported on a grain bin explosion that occurred Monday morning at Nash Johnson and Son’s Feed Mill in Duplin County, North Carolina, but no injuries were reported, and all employees are safe.

The Rose Hill Fire Department, along with several other local fire departments, responded to the scene just before 11:20 a.m. Firefighter Clayton Bryant confirmed that one of the five bins exploded, but there was no fire, and the situation is contained.

Crews are investigating the cause of the explosion, and there is no immediate threat of another incident. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
