Man struck by a front-end loader at Smithfield Feed Mill in Laurinburg

A 30-year-old man is dead after being struck by a large front-end loader Thursday morning at Smithfield Feed Mill on Andrew Jackson Highway in Laurinburg, NC, according to Lt. Jessica Sadonikov with the Scotland County Sheriff's Office.

The victim, who died instantly after being struck by the large machine, has been identified as James Earl Jacobs, says WPDE.
