Grain Elevator in South Dakota Collapses from Fire

Multiple emergency crews responded July 1 to a Trent, South Dakota, grain elevator after a fire broke out.

According to reports, the town’s grain elevator collapsed Friday evening.

The elevator was considered a landmark in the town.

The fire continued burning after the elevator, which had corn in it, collapsed about 8 p.m.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
