The Scoular Company announces Bill Hahn and Ed Prosser will join Scoular in the respective positions of senior vice president of business development and vice president of commodity risk management.

Both executives will start in mid-October and will office in the company's headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, reporting to CEO Paul Maass.

Hahn steps into the role previously held by John M. Heck, a long-time Scoular executive who will be retiring in May 2019. Heck will remain in a senior vice president role with Scoular and will be partnering with Hahn during the transition and working on strategic projects.

Prosser will be working closely with the company’s operating divisions to manage Scoular’s commodity and other trade-related risk, as well as developing and enhancing producer- and end-user-focused risk management programs.

Hahn joins Scoular from Conagra Brands where he most recently served as senior vice president of Mergers & Acquisitions, focusing on strategy development, target identification, deal execution, and integration.

Prosser comes to Scoular from Gavilon where he served as the chief trade and risk officer. Prosser’s career in agribusiness began with Conagra Brands where he worked in a variety of roles over a 24-year time span, eventually serving as vice president and general manager of agricultural risk strategies.
