
Dolly Butz at the Sioux City Journal reported on an announcement from Tyson Foods that 591 out of 2,303 employees have tested positive for Covid-19. The company noted that 75% of those confirmed cases showed no symptoms, and that without testing there would have not been identified.
Infected employees will be receiving paid leave and can return to work once they have met the criteria from the CDC and Tyson. After the tests, Tyson closed the plant for deep cleaning and sanitizing.
