Biome Makers Hires Head of Commercial and Sales in the Americas

David Gray will help company increase reach toward serving U.S., Canadian and Latin American markets

Biome Makers Inc., a global leader in biological soil analysis, announces the hiring of AgTech leader David Gray as Head of Commercial, Americas, accelerating their reach toward serving the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets.

Biome Makers has set the standard for soil microbial health analysis and has seen exponential global growth in recent years. The company is using its $15M in Series B funding to attract top executives to fill crucial roles in changing the focus of agriculture toward the soil.

Gray brings a wealth of experience developing, commercializing, and delivering data-driven agricultural tools. Most recently, as head of U.S. Commercial Operations - Global Digital Farming at BASF, he led U.S. strategy for new technology business models for internal value creation, product support, and revenue growth.

Gray previously served as head of U.S. Digital Farming at Bayer Crop Science, where he executed strategy for delivering digital solutions to both internal and external customers in support of Bayer’s U. S. product and services portfolio.
