New grain bin and infrastructure set to boost capacity and efficiency for upcoming harvest.

Bulldozer Bucker Close Up

West Bend News reported that Scott Equity Exchange Cooperative is expanding its grain storage with a new Brock grain bin holding over 480,000 bushels, along with a dump pit and grain leg. Construction began in mid-2025 and is expected to finish by the wheat harvest season in June and July. The expansion will raise total storage capacity to more than 3.4 million bushels, enhancing efficiency during peak seasons and offering greater flexibility for area farmers. The cooperative views this as a long-term investment in the region’s agricultural economy.
