A dozen grain sites dotted across South Australia will not play a future role in Viterra's network this oncoming harvest, the company announced Tuesday morning.
According to a report at the Herald, Viterra cited the closures as "changes to its site footprint" and intends to keep 55 regional silos operational for now.
The terminations follow the company's decision to shut down 11 regional Viterra sites in 2019, which was met with backlash by Mid North farmers.
