Soybeans Ease on U.S. Crop Condition

USDA rates 73% of soybean crop good-to-excellent, above expectations

Chicago soybean futures slid for the first time in four sessions on Tuesday, as near-perfect weather across the U.S. Midwest boosted expectations of a bumper harvest, reports Reuters.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Monday rated 72% of the U.S. corn crop as good to excellent in a weekly progress report, unchanged from a week ago and in line with trade expectations.

Soybean ratings improved to 73% good-to-excellent, up 1 percentage point
