BinMaster Sensors and Technologies LLC has agreed to purchase assets of Stevens Water Monitoring Systems, Inc., adding environmental monitoring equipment to its industrial sensor lineup.

The acquisition brings the HydraProbe, POGO, and TurfPro brands into BinMaster’s portfolio, along with weather stations and agrotechnology platforms used for water and soil analysis. Stevens Water’s products will complement BinMaster’s existing Senix remote water measurement transmitters.

Founded in 1911, Stevens Water Monitoring Systems has spent more than a century developing water resource management and environmental data tools. The company’s products include liquid level sensors, soil moisture instruments, weather stations, and telemetry systems.

Austin Benes, senior vice president of sales at BinMaster, said the combination will help customers access operational data more easily.

“Our collective goal is to bring critical operational measurements together and make that data easier to access and act upon,” Benes said. “By combining proven sensing technologies with connected data platforms, clients will gain critical information to enhance efficiencies across agriculture, water resources, turf management, and industrial applications.”

Stevens Water joins BinMaster’s family of brands, which includes BinMaster level controls, Senix ultrasonics, BinTrac bin weighing systems, and MicroZone automated heat controls for swine operations.

CEO Scott Hudson said Stevens Water’s “Measurements to Mind” philosophy fits with BinMaster’s mission to deliver tailored monitoring systems.

The combined portfolio will serve industrial, manufacturing, utilities, turf management, and agricultural markets.
