StoneX Group Inc. announced the acquisition of Advanced Marketing Group, a move that expands the company’s reach in animal-protein feed ingredients, pet food, and organic fertilizer trading across North America.
AMG operates throughout multiple U.S. states and Canada, merchandising ingredients for the animal feed and pet food industries. The acquisition brings these capabilities into StoneX Supply & Trading.
"AMG brings an established, well-run feed-ingredients business with supplier relationships and 'approved supplier' status that are hard to replicate," said Brent Grecian, CEO of StoneX Supply & Trading.
AMG owners Ted Skinner and Pete Schoonveld noted the partnership provides additional capital and growth opportunities through StoneX’s risk-management platform.
