Ag Growth International Inc. marked its 30th anniversary this year, celebrating three decades of growth from a small holding company to a global provider of agricultural equipment and solutions.
The company, which completed its initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange in November 2004, now serves customers in more than 100 countries with a portfolio spanning grain handling and storage, fertilizer, feed, food and digital technologies.
AGI’s brands, including Westfield, Batco, Westeel and Hi Roller, typically rank as the top or second-leading products in their sectors across many categories and regions where the company operates.
“Thirty years in business is an important milestone for AGI,” said Paul Brisebois, interim president and CEO. “It reflects the long-term dedication of our employees, the trust of our customers, and the strong foundation that has enabled AGI to grow and serve agriculture markets around the world.”
Co-founder Gary Anderson reflected on the company’s journey, emphasizing the role of relationships in AGI’s success.
“When we started AGI, the focus was on building practical, reliable solutions for farmers and agricultural businesses,” Anderson said. “The true magic behind building this extraordinary business has always come from the shared belief and commitment of those people.”
Art Stenson, another co-founder, honored his late brother Rob Stenson’s contribution to the company’s founding vision.
“My brother Rob, Gary and I deeply believed in agriculture and in building a company upon which farmers and customers could rely,” Stenson said.
AGI plans to recognize the milestone throughout 2026 with a special anniversary logo, employee recognition initiatives and celebration events across key regions this summer and fall.
