Agtegra Cooperative held its annual member meeting on December 17, 2025, where leadership shared election results, reviewed the cooperative’s 2025 performance, and outlined its vision for the future. The meeting was chaired by Board President Rick Osterday.
Five director positions were up for election, with all five seats filled by members committed to supporting the cooperative’s mission. Matt Johnson of Webster, Heather Beaner of Mellette, and Kim Vanneman of Winner were re-elected to represent Districts 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Caleb Wiest of Herreid was newly elected to represent District 4, filling the seat of retiring director Steve Pfeifer of McLaughlin, who was honored for 15 years of service. Chad Boekelheide of Northville was re-elected as director at-large.
Osterday also announced appointments of Kyle Anderson of Verona, North Dakota, and Steven Gill of Java, South Dakota, as nonvoting advisory directors for 2026. Both bring valuable experience in crop production and livestock operations.
Following the elections, the board reorganized its officers, re-electing Osterday as president, Beaner as first vice president, Johnson as second vice president, and Steve Halverson of Pierre as secretary.
In addition to board elections, the cooperative elected 20 members to its delegate council, which serves as a liaison between directors and members. The council members represent districts across South Dakota and North Dakota, ensuring broad member engagement.
