Landus has appointed Angie Krieger, a food and agriculture industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, to its leadership team effective October 13.

Krieger most recently served as General Counsel for the National Pork Board, where she also held roles in operations, marketing and outreach. Her previous experience includes positions at Cargill Meat Solutions and JBS Live Pork.

"Angie brings both legal expertise and business know-how that will be invaluable to Landus," said Eric Heismeyer, CEO of Landus. "Her experience across food and agriculture, paired with her leadership background, will ensure strong governance and decision-making as we grow."

Krieger holds degrees from the University of Nebraska College of Law and Oklahoma State University.

"Her long history in agriculture and her practical approach will provide Landus the guidance we need to best provide for our farmer-owners," said Tim Kolder, Landus Board Chairman.

Krieger lives in Grimes with her husband Jason and their youngest daughter.
