Landus CEO Matt Carstens steps down

Cooperative to name interim leader within a week, search for permanent successor underway.

Landus announced today that Matt Carstens is stepping down as President and Chief Executive Officer after five years of leadership. Board Chairman Matt Chambers will serve as acting CEO, with an interim CEO to be named within the next week.

Chambers praised Carstens' dedication and forward-thinking approach, stating, "Matt has been a dedicated and forward-thinking leader, and we sincerely appreciate the many contributions he made during his tenure with Landus."

The search for both interim and permanent successors will focus on candidates with a deep understanding of the cooperative's mission and farmer-owners' needs.

Landus reaffirms its commitment to farmer-owners, employees, business partners, and agricultural innovation during this transition.
