AFIA Offers Free Webinars

Focus will be on exporting to China, COVID guidance

Webinar VIA PIXABAY JUNE 2021

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is offering two webinars for members to learn more about exporting to China and the recent COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS).

Exporting to China | 11 a.m. EDT | June 28

Companies that currently export, or are interested in exporting, non-animal-based feed additives, premixes, or compound feeds to China must comply with updated facility registration requirements by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

An FDA representative will outline the new requirements and take questions.

COVID-19 ETS | 1 p.m. EDT | June 29

A panel of legal experts from the firm Conn Maciel Carey LLP, Worker Safety Group, will review the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration's ETS and new COVID-19 guidance and its impact on the industry.

The webinar will be open to AFIA, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, and National Turkey Federation members.

Any questions for the panelists should be sent to Gary Huddleston, AFIA's director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs, by June 25.
