Grain dryer fire at Hensall Co-op in Brussels, Ontario

Several emergency departments responded on Monday to Hensall Co-op for a grain dryer fire.

A fire at Hensall Co-op grain elevator in Brussels, Ontario, required a large response from local emergency services on December 4.

According to reports, the fire was contained to one of the grain dryers, causing a small amount of damage. The location of the fire and smoke, located several feet in the air, made it cumbersome for fire crews to access.

No injuries were reported.
