Crews Still Working on Nebraska Grain Elevator
Wrecking ball being used to knock down bottom half of structure
Despite the rain, the demolition of the Anderson Farms grain elevator in South Sioux City, NE, has continued this week says KSCJ.
South Sioux Fire Chief Clint Merithew says the contractor, Terminal Solutions, is using a crane and wrecking ball to take down the rest of the main structure and the process will take around three weeks to complete.
Merithew says we may never know what caused the explosion that seriously injured one employee.
