Update: Man Loses Leg After Grain Bin Accident

Joshua Struber was listed in critical condition Wednesday

A farmer who lost his leg after it was caught in a grain bin auger Tuesday was listed in critical condition Wednesday, authorities said.

The Pantagraph reports Joshua Struber was airlifted from the rural Tremont, IL, facility after he fell in the grain bin about 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office.

He was transported to OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria by LifeFlight.
