Multiple fire departments were called to a grain fire Monday afternoon at Kingsbury Elevator in La Porte County, IN, reports WSBT.
La Porte County Haz-Mat director Jeff Hamilton said canola grain stored in the top of a building next to a silo was on fire.
There was a slight haze from the smoke generated by the burning grain used as animal feed. Hamilton was not sure how much grain was inside the structure or the amount burned.
No injuries were reported.
