The Renville County Sheriff’s Department received a farm accident report at 10:38 a.m. Monday south of Hector, MN, in Martinsburg Township, reports The Journal.
A preliminary investigation revealed the boy was 15 feet off the ground, working on the grain dryer when his legs became entangled in an auger.
The youth was extricated from the grain dryer and transported with serious injuries to Minneapolis Children’s Hospital.
