Tyson (Ty) Knox has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Engineering and Project Management. In this role, Knox will continue to lead the engineering and project management teams and will assume additional leadership responsibilities to help the business exceed client expectations, drive employee engagement, and create shareholder value. In his prior role as Vice President of Systems Engineering, Knox reorganized the engineering and project management teams and optimized process flow to increase utilization and profitability.

“Ty’s leadership skills, his strategic insight and passion to excel have helped transform engineering and project management into a team focused on delivering projects on time and on budget,” Rothermel says. “The team continues to provide the quality and safety performance our clients have come to expect at Schust.”

Knox has worked for Schust since 2011, starting as a project engineer and working his way up to Vice President of Systems Engineering, a position he held for two years.

“I am looking forward to leading an already strong engineering and project management team on a successful path for Schust,” Knox says. “Continuing to develop standard processes that aligns with the company’s strategic initiatives will be essential to support a growing organization.”

Knox earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tri-State University and will remain in the Auburn, Indiana headquarter office.
