Bushel Inc. made the list of five North Dakota businesses in Google’s Economic Impact Report, which features regional organizations that use Google’s products and services to improve their business and support their customers.

The tools that had the biggest impact at Bushel were Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Ad Manager, and Workspace. These provided multiple benefits to the team, including but not limited to improving team collaboration during the pandemic, teaching customers how they can use new tools, and help prospective customers make more informed decisions.

“We grew because we were able to keep going on development commitments, and part of that is attributed to the products we use from Google,” Jake Joraanstad, Bushel Inc. CEO and Co-Founder, told Google. “With Workspace we’ve been able to scale efficiently, and the collaborative tools are indispensable.”

In 2019, Google helped provide $289 million of economic activity for 1,600 businesses in North Dakota. This includes business, publishers, nonprofits, creators, and developers. The other four ND businesses featured were Prairie Fire Pottery, Heat Transfer Warehouse, Pedigree Technologies, and Mighty Missouri Coffee Co.
