Truck driver rescued after electrocution near Minnesota grain elevator

Quick response from multiple agencies saves life, prevents fire spread.

CDLLIFE reported on how a truck driver was rescued Thursday after being electrocuted when his semi-truck contacted a power line near a grain elevator in Miesville, Minnesota. Dakota Electric Association employees quickly cut power to the line, allowing workers to remove the driver from the burning truck.

Dakota County deputies used an AED to revive the driver, who was then transported to a hospital in stable condition.
