Because of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) was forced to cancel its annual GEAPS Exchange in 2020 and reschedule GEAPS Exchange 2021 from February to March.
Due to the long gap between Exchanges, GEAPS has decided to launch the GEAPS Exchange Online Conference. The new conference will run from February 23-25 and registration starts at $50 for GEAPS members and $150 for non-members.
Education opportunities at the Exchange will include keynotes, interactive workshops, education sessions and the Virtual Idea Exchange. Calvin Stovall, CEO, ICONIC Presentations, will open each morning with a keynote address on working with an ICONIC Leadership Mindset.
Margi Simmons, director of Applied Improvisation, Brave New Workshop, will give an interactive workshop that will teach attendees the behaviors of improvisation and how to foster a Mindset of Discovery.
The Exchange will focus on the connection of industry members. A virtual trade show will allow attendees to view product demos, talk to industry equipment and service providers, and feature a scavenger hunt. Each day also ends with an hour-long networking lounge that will allow attendees to converse with each other.
