Election years typically have yielded grain rallies. The pattern is very clear. We have had major rallies in the corn and soybean markets in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016.
So what about 2020?
US fundamentals have turned positive over the last six months, and now any production problems in South America or in the US next year could create higher prices and some very volatile grain markets.
