Bring Me The News' Christine Schuster reported that The Mill Hotel in downtown Fergus Falls, Minnesota, officially opened after a soft launch in July, offering guests a stay in a fully renovated 110-year-old former flour mill. Developer Kevin Bartram invested $5.7 million to repurpose the historic building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The hotel preserves original features like exterior paint, decades-old graffiti, and scars from the 1919 tornado. Guests can enjoy views of downtown, relax in a lounge converted from a grain bin, and explore nearby shops and restaurants. The Mill Hotel offers queen, double queen, king, and two-bedroom rooms with contactless check-in and check-out, blending history with modern convenience.
