The Northern California Record's Noddy A. Fernandez reported on Fresno County, California company Penny Newman Grain Co. suing Global Natural Foods Inc., over the alleged lack of payment for shipments of organic cottonseed. Penny Newman Grain Co. claims that it fulfilled ever condition of it's an agreement with Global Natural to provide shipments of organic cottonseed, but has been shorted almost a quarter of a million dollars. Penny Newman Grain is seeking $241,455.25 in back payment, interest, attorney fees, legal costs and any other damages the court deems fair.
