AgTrax names Texas sales manager

Scott Hallman brings nearly 30 years of agricultural retail experience to regional position.

Scott Hallman Scott HallmanAgTraxAgTrax announced Scott Hallman of Lubbock, Texas, has accepted the position of regional sales manager for the company’s Texas territory. His first day will be Monday, July 6, 2026.

Hallman brings nearly 30 years of experience in agricultural retail, sales and operations to AgTrax, along with established relationships across agricultural cooperatives, grain elevators and ag retailers. He spent more than two decades with Nutrien Ag Solutions, where he was responsible for growing revenue, managing customer accounts and building relationships with producers and agricultural operators.

Beyond his ag retail background, Hallman has sales experience in the agricultural water well and dairy industries.

A lifelong West Texan and graduate of Texas Tech University, Hallman has been involved in agriculture his entire life. His family’s farming operation has cultivated the same land for more than 100 years.

Hallman has been married for 34 years to his wife, Georgianna, an elementary school teacher. They have three sons: Tyler, 31, Jared, 28, and Cade, 25. Outside of work, Hallman is a Texas Tech Baseball fan and enjoys farming, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with his family.

His first industry event with AgTrax will be the Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council Co-op Managers’ Conference, held July 8-10, 2026, at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero, New Mexico. He will attend alongside Michael Hinton, AgTrax director of sales and marketing, where they will meet customers, partners and cooperative leaders from across Texas.
