BinMaster promotes Scott Hudson to chief executive officer

The Nebraska-based sensor technology company elevates decade-long leader following strategic growth and tornado recovery efforts.

Hudson brings more than a decade of leadership experience within the Lincoln, Nebraska-based organization. He joined BinMaster in 2015 as executive vice president of sales and marketing before advancing to president, where he expanded the business portfolio and strengthened the company’s position in level measurement and inventory management technologies.

“We are proud to promote Scott Hudson to CEO,” said Scott McLain, chairman of the board. “He has been instrumental in growing our business while continuing to grow personally and professionally. This promotion reflects BST’s corporate vision of growing our company in a way that also grows our people in their professional capacities.”

During his tenure, Hudson led the company through three strategic acquisitions and major investments in product development, software engineering and systems integration. He also guided recovery and relocation efforts following a devastating tornado that destroyed company facilities in April 2024, ensuring business continuity.

Hudson holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Under his leadership, BST will continue advancing sensor technologies and software solutions that improve operational efficiency and workplace safety across industries.
