Fagus GreCon names Attila Madarasz as new CEO for US and Canadian operations

Fagus GreCon Inc., a leader in preventive fire protection and industrial inspection systems, announced the retirement of Eric Peterson, CEO of its U.S. operations, effective at the end of 2025. Peterson, who led the company for six successful years, will be succeeded by Attila Madarasz, who officially took over as CEO on November 1, 2025.

Madarasz, based at Fagus GreCon’s North American headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, brings over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing across Europe and the U.S. He joined the company on October 13, 2025, and worked closely with Peterson to ensure a smooth transition.

Alexander Kuppe, Managing Director of Fagus-GreCon Greten GmbH & Co. KG, expressed confidence in Madarasz’s ability to continue the company’s growth in North America. Madarasz emphasized his commitment to building on the strong foundation laid by Peterson, focusing on expanding sales and service capabilities, diversifying market strategies, and driving sustainable growth through technology.

Peterson reflected on his tenure, praising the company’s innovative culture and family-run values, and said it was time to inject new energy into the business. Fagus GreCon thanked Peterson for his dedication and wished him well in retirement.
