
Ag Growth International Inc. announced the immediate appointment of the Honourable Brad Wall and George Armoyan to its Board of Directors. The appointments come as Mary Shafer-Malicki resigned and Rohit Bhardwaj and Mike Frank announced they will not stand for reelection at the company’s 2026 annual shareholder meeting.
AGI expressed gratitude to Shafer-Malicki, Bhardwaj, and Frank for their contributions during challenging industry conditions and their ongoing support as the company repositions for the future.
Wall and Armoyan bring distinct skills and extensive experience to the boardroom, aligning with AGI’s renewed focus on operational excellence and improving shareholder returns.
Brad Wall served as Premier of Saskatchewan from 2007 to 2018, overseeing a period of economic growth, export expansion, infrastructure investment, and tax reductions. His leadership helped the province achieve its first AAA credit rating. Wall’s 18-year political career provided him with deep insight and connections in the global agriculture industry. He currently offers business advisory services through his consulting firm and holds board positions in natural resource and energy companies. Wall holds an honours degree in Public Administration from the University of Saskatchewan.
George Armoyan is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of creating shareholder value. He serves as Executive Chairman of G2S2 Capital Inc., President of Armco Capital Inc., and CEO of Clarke Inc. Since 1982, Armoyan has founded and grown multiple businesses and restructured operations to enhance performance. He also serves on the boards of Clarke Inc., Morguard Corporation, and Calfrac Well Services Ltd. Armoyan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University.
