Hamlet Protein reaffirmed its dedication to the swine industry by sponsoring key events in Canada and the United States. The company’s involvement in seminars, tradeshows, and technical presentations facilitated in-depth discussions with industry professionals, academics, and government representatives on the latest developments in animal nutrition and protein markets.
At the Banff Pork Conference in Canada, one of North America’s largest swine-focused gatherings, Hamlet Protein presented a poster on antinutritional factors in soybean meal and their impact on animal health and performance. The company also participated in the South Dakota Pork Conference, valued by many of its key customers, and will be present at the Iowa Pork Expo in Des Moines, featuring a tradeshow and technical sessions. With a production plant in Findlay, Ohio, Hamlet Protein maintains a strong presence at the Ohio Pork Conference.
“Through sponsorship and team attendance at these renowned swine events, we demonstrate our commitment to the industry and practice our ‘Value through Knowledge’ approach,” said NCA Regional Director Grady Fain. “We share the latest scientific insights and learn about market challenges and opportunities directly from feed mills and integrators.”
According to the December 2025 USDA Hogs and Pigs Report, the U.S. breeding herd decreased by 52,000 sows from the previous year, signaling no expansion so far. The 2026 swine forecast anticipates steady pig inventory and overall profitable pork production.
