Landus names Eric Heismeyer as new CEO

The former Bunge, ADM executive to lead Iowa's largest ag cooperative.

Eric Heismeyer will become chief executive officer of Landus, Iowa's largest farmer-owned cooperative, effective September 3. Heismeyer brings executive experience from major agribusinesses including Bunge and ADM, where he held senior leadership positions in operations, commercial strategy and global supply chains.

"I'm honored to step into this role and eager to lead the team at Landus," Heismeyer said.

"Eric is not joining Landus to reset the course, but to accelerate the progress already underway," said Tim Kolder, Landus board chair.

Heismeyer's early focus will be on aligning the organization with the new operating plan and collaborating with the core team and board.

The board engaged Medallion Partners to conduct the national search for the position.
