Nevada becomes 16th state to detect H5N1 in cattle

The Nevada Department of Agriculture has reported the state’s first case of H5N1 in dairy cattle, in Nye County.

The Nevada Department of Agriculture has reported the state’s first case of H5N1 in dairy cattle, in Nye County. The detection was reported December 6 and makes Nevada the 16th state with cases of the virus in cattle.
